Happy Tails is a fundraising project by Heather Smith of Paw Prints Dog Photography. It celebrates rescued and adopted dogs who have found a loving home in the Monadnock Region, with meaningful photography and a spectacular limited edition coffee table book. The best part of this project is, during and after it’s creation, we will be raising funds and awareness for the animals in need at the Monadnock Humane Society!

A huge part of my business is using my platform to help raise funds and awareness for animal rescue. It's something I'm incredibly passionate about and I love thinking up new ways to fundraise! That is where this book project comes in… Of course it did not take me long to determine the charity that I wanted to highlight and raise funds for. The Monadnock Humane Society (MHS) has always held a special place in my heart, as I have been involved with this shelter as either an employee or volunteer since I was 16 years old! I love the creative ways MHS involves itself, educating our community about compassion and overall welfare of the animals. This is the very place where I started a long and meaningful career working with rescue animals (particularly rescue dogs).
THE DETAILS:
Monadnock Happy Tails is a special edition, hardcover coffee table book that shines a little spotlight on rescued/adopted dogs who found a loving home in the Monadnock Region.
Dogs are welcome from all over the Monadnock Region. They can be dogs that were adopted from any shelter/rescue organization.
Photos will be taken outdoors and at pre-determined locations around the Monadnock Region throughout the year. We will be holding sessions through October so if you’re looking for fall photos of your pup here is your chance!
Each session will be treated like a FULL Paw Prints session. That means my friends, that your Happy Tails Session will also include a gallery of images for you to purchase from (should you choose). Looking for a more affordable (and charitable way) to achieve professional images of your dog? Here it is! If not, you’re session fee and spot in this book is secured!
Your $90 Registration Fees include your custom Paw Prints Dog Photography session (normally $150) and and a double-page spread in The Monadnock Happy Tails book. 50% of this registration fee will be donated directly to The Monadnock Humane Society (the other 50% will be put toward the costs to produce the book). Additionally, 100% of the book sale profits will be donated to The Monadnock Humane Society.
This book will be professionally and lovingly designed right here in the United States.
Participants will have the option to purchase artwork, digital images and prints should they choose to do so following the session
One dog per registration, however you may choose to register as many dogs as you would like
